This was the first line produced by Australian Moulding Corporation from 1929 – 1932. It was made from imported Urea-formaldehyde (similar to Bakelite but able to be produced in brighter colours). This was less heat resistant than some plastics, but unfortunately could give off a chemical smell or taste!

Evening news (Sydney), 20th June 1930 p.5 Saxon ware was first mentioned in late 1929 and advertised until 1932.

Line of plates, cups, saucers, jugs, basins, bowls, mugs, beakers, egg cups, serviette rings,trays, lemonade sets.
Colours
Plain, mottled and marbled. Ivory, jade, alabaster, rose, storm blue, peach, plum, combinations of ivory and orange or blue.
